GestureMIDI
Combining my love of music performance, production, and technology, I built a basic prototype of a system to control music parameters with physical body gestures! I'm frustrated with the disconnect between the performative and auditory aspects of live music performance - turning knobs is an archaic, uninteresting metaphor for manipulating live music and we live in the goddamn future so I think we can do better. So here I am using my hands to control various plugins in Ableton Live, such as the high and low pass bands of EQ or some DJ effects like a stutter and overdrive.
